Tom Evans was The Iveys guitarist but replaced Ron Griffiths on bass in 1969 when Ron Griffiths was forced out of the band by their manager due to his girlfriend at the time getting pregnant. The Iveys were signed to Apple Records in 1968 whose band members were Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins and Ron Griffiths.īadfinger consisted of Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins and Joey Molland. The Iveys and Badfinger were essentially the same group. The first disc contains alternate mixes and previously unreleased songs by The Iveys and Badfinger.
